Melissa Khalaj will host the Sat.1 music show "All Together Now".
The 32-year-old had already commented on her new job in an Instagram story on Monday: "It will be a dream come true for me," she said there.
"It will be the most beautiful show in the world." In response to inquiries from the online magazine DWDL, the broadcaster confirmed the announcement.
The presenter replaces Luke Mockridge, who was originally supposed to lead the show.
Khalaj became known as the host of the show "Celebrity Big Brother - The Late Night Show".
She also leads through the casting show "The Voice Kids" and the talk show "GNTM The Talk".
The reason was research by SPIEGEL.
It revealed new details about the rape allegations that his ex-girlfriend Ines Anioli had made against him.
In addition, more than ten women accused Mockridge of crossing borders.
Mockridge denies all allegations.
The public prosecutor's office stopped investigating the ex-girlfriend for lack of sufficient suspicion.
She assumed that Mockridge would not be convicted based on the evidence.
There had been rumors against Mockridge months earlier.
In August, he announced on Instagram that he would not moderate any more shows this year.
In the show "All Together Now" the participants sing in front of a jury of 100 artists and musicians.
If you are won over by a contribution, get up and sing along.
The more jury members stand up, the more points there are.
