Electromobility is the future, which is why a well-known car manufacturer will switch completely to the production of e-cars in the future.

Electromobility is the future - a traditional manufacturer in the automotive industry knows that too and therefore wants to switch completely to the production of e-cars.

Kassel – Although e-cars and electromobility clearly represent the future, some manufacturers are already getting out of business again.

Rising electricity prices also increase the cost of charging e-cars.

Other manufacturers, on the other hand, only want to rely on the concept of electromobility in the future.

Rolls-Royce is considered one of the best-known car manufacturers in the world and stands for a company with tradition.

As British media reports, the car manufacturer now wants to take a decisive step and say goodbye to the combustion engine entirely.

A promising development that more and more established car manufacturers are making.

Rolls-Royce wants to completely remove the classic combustion engine from its range

As Torsten Müller-Ötvös, head of Rolls-Royce, told the British car magazine Autocar, the company wants to completely remove the classic combustion engine from the range by 2030.

Every model of the traditional manufacturer is to be replaced by an electric vehicle.

The Rolls-Royce Mk2 Ghost will be the manufacturer's last car to be launched with an internal combustion engine.

However, the requirement of the British government, which will completely ban petrol engines from 2030, should not be the main reason for the traditional manufacturer's changed company policy.

The clientele has become younger on average.

According to Müller-Ötvös, the average age of the target group is now in their mid-40s, many of whom already own an electric car.

Electromobility: To date, Rolls-Royce has not had a single electric car on the market

According to media reports, Rolls-Royce sold more cars than in any previous year.

The step towards a complete switch to e-cars is nevertheless a risk, because Rolls-Royce has not yet had a single e-car on the market.

The Rolls-Royce Coupé Specter, the automaker's first electric model, won't be available until next year.

If more people drive e-cars in Germany, this goes hand in hand with a higher demand for electricity.

According to studies, however, this could have a positive effect on electricity prices.

Hundreds of thousands of people are applying for a charging station at home so that e-cars can be charged quickly.

But that affects the power grid.
