- This year, for the first time, the "Intercultural Prize for Diversity in Freising" will be awarded in the area of voluntary work - by the Migration Council of the Agenda21 and Social Advisory Council. The award is supported by the Intercultural Office of the Freising City Administration and the Freising Community Foundation. "The award is intended to honor Freising projects and associations / initiatives that work on a voluntary basis for integration and diversity and against exclusion in the city of Freising," reports city spokeswoman Christl Steinhart. The patron is Lord Mayor Tobias Eschenbacher.
The Intercultural Prize 2021 is endowed with a total of 3000 euros.
The amount can also be divided among several award winners in partial sums.
The selection is made by an independent jury from among the migration council, the community foundation, the city administration and society.

"We are looking forward to many applications and, above all, would like to expressly invite the numerous associations in which migrants have long been involved: We very much hope that this important work will then become even more visible in the city of Freising," says Sina Hörl, integration officer for the city of Freising, also on behalf of the Migration Council.
Applications from all other projects, associations and initiatives that volunteer for integration and diversity and against exclusion in the city of Freising are also welcome.
