The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection allowed the sale of bread next Friday via the electronic card for one time only, with the same family allowances for Saturday, July 9, which coincides with the holiday of the first day of Eid al-Adha.
The ministry explained that this procedure aims to ensure that citizens are not interrupted and that they receive their dues and allotments of bread, noting that Friday is the weekly holiday for bakeries.
