The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection stressed that all economic and commercial activities are fully committed to the ration prices set by the Ministry for all materials and commodities.
In a statement, which SANA received a copy of, the ministry called on all importers and wholesalers who issue fake invoices while charging mainly high prices to abide by the food prices set by the ministry based on the cost data that is basically provided by them under penalty of violation.
The ministry pointed out that from the date of publishing this warning, the supply control will not rely on the written statement against the violators as a complaint only, but on the oral complaints as well, and legal measures will be taken against them in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 8 of 2021 with their referral to the judiciary.
The ministry called on all economic and commercial activities to fully comply with the ministry's pricing, noting that whoever has proof that his cost is higher than this price, he should submit cost data to the directorate of prices in it.
