The holiday is celebrated at the Jewish Agency's Absorption Center in the capital in a large, transcontinental sukkah, where about 170 immigrants from 26 countries sit together.

About 170 young immigrants, who live in the absorption center of the Jewish Agency "Ulpan Etzion" in Jerusalem, celebrate the Sukkot holiday in a cross-continental sukkah, which gathers immigrants from 26 different countries under one thatch.

The chairman of the World Zionist Organization and the actual chairman of the Jewish Agency, Yaakov Hagoel, visited the unique sukkah yesterday (Sunday) and met with the immigrants, who came to Ulpan Etzion from around the world.

"Sukkot symbolizes the unity of the people of Israel, but it is only natural that in the sukkah of Ulpan Etzion in Jerusalem, immigrants from dozens of communities, representing the people of Israel, will sit," said Hagoel.

The immigrants immigrated during the summer and were absorbed into the Jewish Agency's Etzion studio in Jerusalem from various countries, including the United States, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, South Africa, Australia, India, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, France, England, Germany, Denmark, Spain and Panama.

The Absorption Center of the Jewish Agency "Ulpan Etzion" in Jerusalem was established a year after the establishment of the state and is considered the first studio for Hebrew studies in Israel and one of the popular absorption centers for young women from all over the world seeking to build their future in Israel.

Every year, hundreds of single and academic immigrants between the ages of 22 and 35 are admitted to Ulpan Etzion.
