In a video on Facebook, AfD district chairman Florian Jäger compares the situation of people who do not get vaccinated against the corona virus with the persecution of Jews under Nazi rule.
That is why the public prosecutor's office is now investigating the former member of the Bundestag.
Fürstenfeldbruck - There is a suspicion of incitement to hatred, explains the senior public prosecutor Klaus Ruhland to the daily newspaper demand.
Therefore, there had already been a house search at Jäger.
According to Ruhland, it was mainly electronic devices that were confiscated that could have been used in crimes.
The search is based on an investigation conducted by the central anti-Semitism commissioner of the Bavarian judiciary, who is based at the central office for combating extremism and terrorism (ZET) at the Munich public prosecutor's office.
The confiscated items are evaluated by forensic specialists from the criminal police.
Experience has shown that this could take a few weeks.
Because of the ongoing investigation, no further information can be given at the moment, explains public prosecutor Klaus Ruhland.
Florian Jäger himself did not want to comment on the allegations.
The AfD politician did not respond to a request from the Tagblatt.
