Today, Iraqi forces arrested a terrorist in the Rashidiya area of the capital, Baghdad.
Alsumaria News quoted the Baghdad Operations Command as saying in a statement: "In implementation of the security plan and based on accurate intelligence information, the Iraqi forces managed to arrest a terrorist in Rashidiya, in a tight ambush," noting the confiscation of weapons and ammunition in his possession.
In a related context, the Baghdad Operations Command pointed out that anti-explosives units managed to defuse a local explosive device in the Zafaraniyah area in the Iraqi capital.
Today, Iraqi forces seized a warehouse of equipment and weapons left behind by terrorist organizations in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.
