Today, Iraqi forces eliminated four ISIS terrorists in Diyala province, east of the country.
The Iraqi News Agency quoted the Military Media Cell as saying in a statement, "To complete the preemptive operations, a security operation was carried out this morning by the tactical force of the Intelligence Agency, following up on the Joint Operations Command and coordinating with the Air Force, which resulted in the elimination of four terrorists in the Hamrin mountain range."
The statement indicated that search and search operations are still continuing to search for the remaining terrorist hideouts within this region.
The Iraqi forces are continuing their security operations to pursue the remnants of the terrorists, as yesterday they carried out three air strikes targeting hideouts of ISIS terrorists in the Kirkuk governorate in northern Iraq.
