The Israeli youth team in artistic swimming tonight (Thursday) successfully opened its performances at the European Youth Championships in Spain, and already in the first exercise it won a bronze medal in the duet mix exercise (man and woman).
Katie Kunin and Yogev Dagan put together the unique duet and scored 75.8668 points, ahead of the British team by only 0.03 points.
The gold medal was won by the Spanish team with 83.0668 points and the silver medal by Italy with 77.2332 points, with a total of 5 teams taking part in the exercise.
Today, exercises involving men are not part of the Olympic program, but are an integral part of the World and European Championships, and accordingly also for youth.
The team is led by coaches Larissa Kunin and Valeria Aprileva.
