The start on 29 August in Camerino with a musical event and then start the second edition of the March of solidarity (a week of concerts and trekking in the heart of the Earthquake), the conclusion, as is now tradition, in L'Aquila, the 5 and 6 September with two days of more diluted events but still with great live music.
2020 also marks the handover in the artistic direction: Paolo Fresu gives the baton to a three-part direction, which will change year after year. Ada Montellanico (musician, singer and president of the Association Il Jazz Va a Scuola), Simone Graziano (musician and president of the Association of Italian Musicians of Jazz) and Luciano Linzi (artistic director of the Casa del Jazz) and the JAZZMI festival, councilor of the I-Jazz Association).
But there are several new features announced, starting with the tribute to three musicians who disappeared in recent months such as Gianni Lenoci, Aldo Bassi and Carlo Conti.
