Giorgio Chiellini lived an evening rich in emotion this Monday, May 17.
The captain of Juventus Turin, 37, played his last home match in the bianconero jersey against Lazio in Rome.
Holder, the central defender came out in the 17th minute…, like the number of seasons played with Juve.
He was replaced by Matthijs De Ligt.
Then all smiles, he entrusted his captain's armband to Paulo Dybala, who was also saying goodbye to the Turin public.
Chiellini was then warmly greeted by all his teammates, then by the staff of Juve on the edge of the field.
And as the match continued, he took a lap to the ovations of the tifosi, who had paid tribute to him before kick-off.

It is a true legend of Juventus who is bowing out.
Chiellini joined the Old Lady in 2004 from Livorno but only started there a year later, having spent the first season on loan at Fiorentina (2004-2005).
He then became a monument of the club and of Italian football.
He won 19 trophies with Juve
With Juve, he won 19 trophies: nine Italian league titles, five Italian Cups and five Super Cups.
He also played in two Champions League finals (2015 and 2017).
“I'm happy to leave this year, to give space to younger people.
It's my choice, I do it with great serenity, ”he said when he announced his departure.
With the Squadra Azzurra, he has 116 selections.
He was captain during the coronation at the Euro at Wembley in 2021. He will bid farewell to the Italian national team on June 1, during the match against Argentina in London.
For the moment, his future remains to be defined.
He has not yet decided between definitively stopping football or embarking on an ultimate adventure, in MLS in Los Angeles, a hypothesis mentioned by the Italian press.
But a place is reserved for him at Juventus for his conversion.
