The Italian Football Association announced today that Italy will allow fans to attend European Championship matches at the Olympic Stadium in Rome with at least 25 percent of the stadium's capacity.
Reuters quoted Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian Football Association, as saying in a statement, "The government's approval for fans to attend matches in Rome at the European Championship is great news that we will immediately inform the European Union."
The Olympic Stadium in Rome will host the opening match of the tournament between Italy and Turkey on June 11 and three other confrontations.
