Tunisian Anas Jaber withdrew from the Moscow Women's Tennis Championships in the first round against Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, ranked 37th in the world, after just 30 minutes of playing.
According to Sky Sports, Jaber was not in her best condition, as she lost the first set by 1-6 before withdrawing at the beginning of the second set due to the injury she suffered from the beginning, to ascend the Russian to the last eight.
At a time when the Tunisian star achieved a historic achievement by ascending to eighth place in the world, Jaber was hoping to go far in the Moscow Championship to regain the hope of participating in the final session of the masters.
