The Government of Jalisco, in western Mexico, announced new restrictive measures to contain the spread of infections in this new wave of the pandemic, including the cessation of operations of bars and nightclubs throughout August.
While Governor Enrique Alfaro explains that these measures are necessary to control the increase in cases before the next start of the school year, some citizens regret that this could cause job losses.
