James Harden showed up to the Philadelphia Sixers preseason looking in better shape than ever.
The superstar, who was criticized for his weight in the past, went on a diet this summer and increased his muscle mass for the upcoming season.
The 33-year-old player told reporters very seriously when asked about the topic: "I lost 100 pounds (45 kilograms) this summer, quote it," Joel Embiid, the other star of the team who was sitting next to him, did not stand Harden's joke and burst out laughing.

Later, Harden said seriously: "For the last year and a half, I really haven't been healthy enough to do the right job like I'm used to."
Last season, the guard averaged 21 points, 7.1 rebounds and 10.5 assists in 21 regular season games after being traded from the Brooklyn Nets.
