Israelis were hit by a car driven by a Palestinian in the Sheikh Jarrah ward in East Jerusalem. The police said so. According to the media, the Palestinian attacker has been "neutralized" and at least six are injured. Sheikh Jarrah is the neighborhood where in recent weeks there have been violent clashes with the police over the breakdown of some Palestinian families. According to Kan public television, six police officers were injured in the attack and hospitalized in a nearby hospital. Two of them are in average conditions, and the others are lightly injured.
In the meantime, the security services are working to establish the identity of the bomber who with his car hit a police car with force.
The agents sealed off the area for fear of further unrest in the district inhabited mainly by Palestinians and in which there is also a small Jewish agglomeration near the tomb of 'Simon the Just'.
The television added that to clear the area, officers threw stun grenades also at Israeli journalists.
