Omaima A. was surprised when she came home one evening in spring 2019.
Her twelve-year-old daughter told of uninvited visitors.
A woman was there, wanted to talk to mom and asked the girl if she had ever been to Syria.
A. later reported it in court.
The mother was frightened.
Her years in the "Islamic State" (IS), life in Raqqa, returning to Germany, turning away from fundamentalist Islam - all of that seemed to be over for her, past, forgotten.
She had chosen a new life, without veils, without men, without war.
She wanted to fulfill her dream and open a cosmetic studio.
She says.
And then that. She was blown.
A reporter found A.
The mother of four knew at the time that it would only be a matter of time before she received even more uninvited visitors.
On September 9, 2019, officials from the State Criminal Police Office Hamburg A. arrested.
She came into custody.
Suspicion of terrorism.
