Bruce Willis and John Travolta are working together again.
On Monday, the shooting of "Paradise City" begins in Hawaii, their first joint film since "Pulp Fiction" 27 years ago.
This is reported by the industry service »Deadline«.
In "Paradise City", according to "Deadline", Willis plays a bounty hunter who has to fight his way through the Hawaiian underworld to get revenge on his father's murderer.
This killer is played by Travolta.
The main female role is played by the Thai actress Praya Lundberg.
The director is Chuck Russell, who was previously responsible for "The Mask" and "The Scorpion King", among others.
For Willis, a busy time continues seamlessly: There are seven wacky films with him ready for this year and next.
Travolta, on the other hand, was far less in front of the camera, most recently he was only seen on TV in the series "Die Hart".
Technically, this is the fourth joint film
In 1994, "Pulp Fiction" marked a turning point in the careers of both actors.
Not only did the episode film win the Palme d'Or and grossed $ 214 million worldwide.
For Travolta, the film heralded the big comeback after its successes in the late seventies and early eighties, while Willis was able to show other sides of himself than that of the action hero for the first time.
Although the two could be seen in one scene for the first time under Quentin Tarantino's direction, "Paradise City" is technically their fourth film together.
In the family comedy "Look Who's Talking" and its sequel, Bruce Willis spoke the baby Mikey, who communicates with father Daddy James (Travolta).
