British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced today that his country will not extend quarantine measures after next March 25, indicating that most restrictions imposed on the Corona virus and the Omicron strain have been lifted.
And Agence France-Presse quoted Johnson as saying in a session before the House of Commons in the British Parliament, “The wearing of masks in public places, the passport of vaccination and work from home will be canceled,” adding, “As of next week, the application of the measures that were previously introduced will stop.”
Johnson indicated the abolition of the mandatory requirement to show an electronic certificate of complete vaccination when visiting some public events and nightclubs and recommending employers to return employees to remote work, indicating that the government will no longer require the mandatory wearing of masks in closed places and public transportation.
