With the end of the third round of the Champions League, in which Real Madrid and Barcelona defeated Ukrainian teams, Spain begins to prepare for the big Clasico between the two biggest clubs in the country, which will be hosted by the Blaugrana on Sunday at 17:15.
Ahead of the meeting, in "Marca" published a list of 50 past players of both teams, which the fans must have forgotten that they even took part in the long-standing rivalry.
From Barcelona's representatives on the list, you can find three players with a direct connection to Israeli football.
The first is Jordi Cruyff, who led Maccabi Tel Aviv as a professional manager for three championships and a performance in the home stage of the Champions League, but as a Barcelona player he is better remembered as "the son of Johan".

Another yellow ex is Oscar Garcia, who previously coached the team from Kiryat Shalom, and the third is ex Hapoel Beer Sheva, Isak Cuenca.
For those who asked, the Catalan home player who did not really leave a mark in the Negev capital is currently without a team since April, when he left the Japanese Vagalta Sendai.

One of the most intriguing names on the list is that of Pepe Reina, who is mostly remembered from his time at Liverpool, but actually grew up in Barcelona, played in the senior team uniform between 2000 and 2002 and even won a goal in the Clásico.
Alongside the exes of Israeli football, there are a number of representatives whose time in Barcelona is considered particularly unsuccessful.
Prominent among them are Ricardo Quaresma, Alexander Halav, Alex Song, Ibrahim Applai and Jafran Suarez, who evoke better memories among the team's fans in light of the fact that he scored the last goal in the legendary 0: 5 in the 2010/11 season.

On the other hand, Real Madrid also shows some players who did not really leave their mark on the Santiago Bernabeu.
From the last decade you will find Lucas Silva and Khamit Altintop on the list, and before that Gabriel Heinza, Xabi Garcia, Christoph Matzelder and Royston Drante.
A number of players are expected to make their debut on the main stage of Spanish football on Sunday, and it seems that players like Eric Garcia, Gabby, Memphis Depay and David Alaba want first and foremost not to be part of the dubious list when they leave the club.
