Journalist Lydia Cacho rebuilds her life after threats in Mexico and her departure to Spain

The renowned journalist Lydia Cacho denounced in 2019 the raid on her house in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo.

At that time, she stated that they stole journalistic material, a computer and killed her two dogs.

During her self-exile in Spain, Mexican family and friends transferred dozens of diaries and letters that she wrote during various stages of her life.

Carmen Aristegui spoke with Cacho about her most recent book “Letters of love and rebellion”, based on epistles and written diaries that include fragments of her life, confessions and personal revelations from her.
