It's not just restaurateurs who love ratings: bakers too.
The 40th Competition for Best Young Bakers in France has just distinguished the winners of the year under the aegis of the Confédération Nationale de la Boulangerie-Pâtisserie Française (CNBPF).
The winner is a winner, since it is Julie Unterreiner, 18, representative of the Grand Est region, who is on the top step of the podium. She is followed by Léa Paturel (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and Tom Nesci (Île-de-France). Julie Unterreiner lives in Haut-Rhin. Holder of a bakery CAP obtained in Mulhouse, she followed an apprenticeship in her village, in Reiningue, and intends to set up on her own.
This list is the epilogue of the 8th edition of the Excellence Week organized by the CNBPF, chaired by Dominique Anract, which took place in Metz from November 26 to 26.
Seventeen candidates were in contention for the title.
Eight other finalists competed for the eleventh Trophy for talents in consulting and sales in bakery and pastry: Sullivan Bigand (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) won the title in this category.
