Big disappointment for Hapoel Jerusalem after tonight's (Wednesday) 92:65 defeat to Burgos in the quarterfinals of the Champions League as part of the Final 8 tournament in Athens.
Now the Reds are expected to return to Israel earlier than expected and draw lessons for the 2020/2021 season.
Disappointed Oded Katash after the game: "It was a difficult game for us. We tried our best and it did not work out. We will be fine later, but at the moment the feelings are not good. It was a really bad performance. We did nothing of what we are used to and Burgos were just a lot "Better than us in everything. Now it's very disappointing, but I know we'll be better in the future."
Tyson Thomas added: "It was not our good game, not what we expected. We will remember this game for the rest of the season, and those were the feelings in the locker room. We will learn from that and come back next season to fight for the Israeli league and the Champions League."
