The General Directorate of Real Estate Services has digitized more than 540 thousand real estate newspapers so far out of 4.3 million newspapers in all governorates. The digitization included the governorates of Damascus, Rural Damascus, Lattakia, Sweida, Tartous, Hama, Homs and Daraa.
In a statement to a SANA representative, the Director General of the General Directorate of Real Estate Interests, Engineer Waddah Qatmawi, stated that the project of automating real estate sheets is one of the most important works that the directorate carries out in addition to restoring real estate sheets damaged as a result of terrorism and reconfiguring them in a number of regions.
Kattamawi pointed out that after the issuance of Law 33 of 2019, which organized the process of reconfiguring damaged real estate sheets in the governorates, a decision was issued to reconfigure real estate sheets in the second and third regions in Aleppo and in the Arbin and Douma regions in the Damascus countryside governorate and in the Ziti, Kafr Laha and Taldo regions in the Homs governorate, where the direct action took place. By checking the available documents, judicial committees were formed to document them after taking into account the objections of the real estate owners.
The Director General of Real Estate Services indicated that work has been resumed in the Directorate of Real Estate Interests in Deir Ezzor and its real estate departments in Al Mayadin and Albu Kamal according to the available records, and the daily supplementary and opened daily record has been closed in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 11 of 2016 in Arbin and Douma in Damascus Countryside and the resumption of work in the Real Estate Department In Al-Rastan and the opening of new real estate departments in Salhab in Hama governorate, Al-Safsafa in Tartous governorate, and in Jaramana and Al-Moadamiya in the countryside of Damascus.
Kattamawi explained that the Real Estate Department in Qusair was transferred to its new headquarters, the new real estate interests department was activated in the ambassador in Aleppo, and an electronic messaging service was launched between the governorates to provide real estate and survey services, and the precautionary reservation system in the General Directorate was initiated by withdrawing reservation decisions received from the authorized public authorities. Legally placing seizures in order to preserve public funds to circulate them duly to the directorates and departments of real estate interests.
Katmawi pointed to the opening of a seventh real estate documentation office in Lattakia and a real estate documentation office in the Wadi al-Ayyun area in Hama and another in al-Kiswah in the countryside of Damascus. He also confirmed work currently on developing a directory of real estate services and the proposal of the Directorate of Real Estate Interests in Aleppo regarding giving data from the reality of archived images to domesticate and work accordingly. In current transactions according to the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 11 of 2016.
