Tokyo, SANA- Two Syrian national swimming and triathlon players, Ayman Kalzieh and Muhammad Maso, will compete in the Olympics.

Syrian national swimming and triathlon players Ayman Kalzieh and Muhammed Maso will compete in the Olympic Games currently being held in Tokyo the day after tomorrow.

The 25-year-old swimmer, Kalzia, won the Olympic qualification card after recording good numbers in his participation in swimming tournaments and tournaments, in which achievements are considered eligible to participate in the Olympics.

Kelzia was able to win bronze at the 2014 Dubai World Cup, 3 silvers in the Arab championship, Jordan 2012, two silvers and a bronze in the Asian Championships “Uzbekistan 2015”, 6 golds in the “Dubai International Championship 2015” and a gold and bronze in the Asian Championships in India 2019. He is the Syrian record holder in the races “50m, 100m and 200m butterfly”, 200m and 400m medley.

In turn, Maso overcame a long road of difficulties to reserve a place in the Olympics at the invitation of the Tri-Asian Committee specialized in the game, after reaching the 149th place in the world and 11th Asian, knowing that this is the first time since triathlon became an Olympic sport that a Syrian player qualified for the Olympics.

Maso with the national team achieved ninth place in the Mediterranean Beach Games in Spain 2018, sixth place in the Asian Games in Indonesia 2018, eleventh place in the Asian Cup in Kazakhstan 2019, seventh place in the Asian Cup in Kyrgyzstan 2019 and third place in the Mediterranean Beach Games In Greece 2019 and ninth place in the African Cup in Senegal 2019.

The Syrian table tennis player, Hend Zaza, lost to Austrian player Liu Jia at dawn today, in four games without a response, in the tournament.
