Stuttgart – After the decision by the federal and state governments to adhere to the current corona measures in principle, Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann wants to explain his “course of prudence” in the state parliament on Wednesday (9.00 a.m.).
Despite concerns about clinic overload due to the rampant omicron variant, there will be some easing towards the end of the week.
The background is that the government made up of the Greens and the CDU must put the regular tier system back into force.
Most recently she had frozen Alert Level II because of Omicron.
However, the Administrative Court considers this procedure to be unlawful and has already overridden individual measures in universities and retail.
The reason for this is that the burden on hospitals is currently below the limit values for alert level II.

The government now wants to pass its new Corona regulation on Wednesday, which expires at the end of January.
The normal alert level would then apply again.
However, green-black wants to adjust the individual rules here again.
It is already clear that there should be first opening steps in shops and at major events.
In return, however, the government is tightening the mask requirement on buses and trains.
There will probably be an obligation to wear FFP2 masks from Friday.
But there are still unanswered questions: The return to the normal alarm level would actually also mean that only 2G and no longer 2G plus would apply in restaurants.
And the curfew from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. would also be a thing of the past.
But whether the government can bring itself to do so is not yet clear.
It is also questionable whether clubs and bars will be allowed to reopen.
