A year after his accession to the general management of L'Oréal, Nicolas Hieronimus is about to make his first acquisition.
According to our information, the world leader in cosmetics is finalizing the acquisition of Byredo perfumes from the British investment fund Manzanita Capital, which also owns Diptyque candles and Malin+Goetz skincare creams.
The transaction would be based on a valuation of 1 billion euros.

Founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham, a young graduate of the Royal School of Fine Arts, this niche perfume brand (the fastest growing segment of the sector), whose 50 cl bottles are sold for 140 euros each , also offers scented candles and body products.
Its annual turnover is estimated at 180 million euros.
