CSU Pliening organizes Johannifeier
“We want to set an example, put aside the sadness of the past months and hold an event in the community again.
Given the current low incidence, in Pliening there has not been a single corona case for weeks, and we consider the event to be justifiable with a good hygiene concept. ”With these words, the CSU local chairman René Buchmann announces the Johannifeier on Friday.
It starts at 18 o'clock.
A beer garden with a fire bowl is planned.
"The same rules apply to visitors as they currently do in beer gardens," says Buchmann.
A classic Midsummer bonfire, as it took place at the Plieninger Bürgerhaus in recent years, is not possible according to the Infection Protection Ordinance.
Green plienings invite you to dinner in white
On Sunday, August 1st, the Pliening branch of Bündnis90 / Die Grünen will host a white dinner with live music on the village square in Landsham. Start is at 5 p.m. The band "Summerhouse Five" with singer Brigitte Adorno plays jazz and swing. The concept of dinner in white: The participants come dressed in white and bring with them what they need for a nice summer evening outdoors: folding table and chairs, picnic blankets, crockery, cutlery, food, drinks, decorations, flowers, etc. This event too takes place under the applicable Corona rules, the Greens inform. "We look forward to you!", The local association writes in its invitation to all citizens. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed by one week to August 8th.
Two years ago, Pliening's Greens hosted a white dinner for the first time on Landsham's village square. Because of the corona pandemic, a repetition was not possible in 2020 - now it will be made up for.
