The district upper league footballers of TSV Eching are still on the road to success.

They won 1-0 in Traunstein and drew level with leaders Überacker.

Eching

– The winning streak of the Echinger footballers continues.

Thanks to a goal in the last minute, the district league team secured a 1-0 (0-0) win at DJK Traunstein and thus the third three in a row.

As a result, the TSV team is second in the table after four matchdays - tied with leaders RW Überacker.

Especially in the first half, the Echinger women brought up many skillful moves.

The only thing missing from the offensive actions was completion.

As in the previous season, the zebras were very disciplined in defence.

Striker Paula Theis, who guarded the TSV case this time, didn't even have to reach behind her.

Even if there were no chances, the two teams played "pretty good football" over the 90 minutes, according to Eching coach Jan Strehlow - especially as the pitch conditions became more and more difficult.

It was particularly dangerous for both sides through standard situations.

However, the guests had the better end.

The Echingen women netted for the first time a good ten minutes before the end, but the referee decided on an offensive foul.

The joy was all the greater after Jaqueline Eberling's last-minute goal, which sunk an untenable long-range shot into the Kreuzeck to make it 1-0 (90').

"We're just happy!

The first women's team has never been so good," said coach Strehlow.

"Even if the three points were lucky, they were deserved because of the team performance." Not to forget: The Zebras girls have not conceded a goal this season.

The route for the home game next Sunday (3 p.m.) against FC Stern München II is clear: “Keep on zero, run, fight and bite.” The women are hoping for a large crowd again, after all they even went to Traunstein several TSV fans traveled with them.
