Legislative Council Election ︱ Democratic People’s Association Party Registration Deadline Yesterday, Executive Committee Meeting Today: No Party Member Registration

The ADPL held a special membership meeting earlier to allow party members to participate in the election. The registration period ended yesterday (22nd), and the executive committee was scheduled to meet today to deal with it.

According to the latest announcement by the ADPL, as of October 22, the ADPL Executive Committee has not received any applications from members to stand for election. Therefore, the Executive Committee did not discuss relevant matters today.

This means that the party will not send people to stand for election.

Together with the Democratic Party, the two traditional pan-democratic parties will be absent from the first legislative council election after the restructuring.
