(ANSA) - TRIPOLI, NOVEMBER 24 - The Libyan Electoral Commission has announced that it has rejected the candidacy of Saif al-IslamGheddafi, son of former dictator Muammar, in the presidential elections scheduled for December 24.
Wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for "crimes against humanity", Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi is among the 25 candidates whose files have been rejected, according to a press release from the Libyan High Electoral Commission (Hnec).
