The chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu and the Minister of Finance, Avigdor Lieberman, spoke today at the faction meeting sharply against the contacts and communication with Abu Mazen.

"What we have received in the last month is a cynical exploitation of Abu Mazen who is taking advantage of any incitement to incite against the government," he said.

"I call on the entire government to boycott him. He is not a partner in anything. Every pilgrimage to Abu Mazen must be stopped. He is a terrorist who deals with political terrorism, which is sometimes more dangerous."

In addition, Lieberman explained the change in his position on the issue of nationality law.

Lieberman, who was a supporter of the law, wants to introduce the principle of equality, after the publication of Lt. Col. M.'s story.

"I've seen this dissonance talking about brothers in arms on the one hand and the harm the law causes on the other," he shared.

"Even those who supported the law are allowed to amend and change their minds. The value position is important."

At the Meretz faction meeting, which took place shortly after, Health Minister and party chairman Nitzan Horowitz supported Lieberman's remarks and even went against the law even more: "Nationality law is racist and discriminatory, it is an anti-civil law.

We advocate that all citizens are equal, the Nationality Law should be repealed and at the same time the Equality Law should be promoted.

The principle of equality will not harm anyone and will not harm the character of a Jewish and democratic state.
