A 66-year-old porter named Pu collapsed yesterday (6th) while transporting planks at the Tsuen Wan Waterfront Garden. He died after being sent to the hospital, leaving his wife and 24-year-old daughter.
The family of the deceased went to the Kwai Chung Mortuary to go through the formalities for corpse recognition today (7th). They looked sad and left after staying for more than an hour.
It is understood that the widow has to go in and out of the hospital frequently because of a long-term illness, and is still in the hospital today, unable to go through the formalities in the mortuary.

The incident occurred at 4 o'clock in the afternoon yesterday (6th) when a male worker fainted after carrying wooden boards underground to an upstairs unit in Haiyin Court, Block 4, Riviera Gardens, 1-7 Yi Hong Street, Tsuen Wan.
Rescuers arrived and rushed the male victim to Renji Hospital, but he was confirmed dead in the end.
Initial investigation by the police indicated that the case was classified as an industrial accident, and the cause of death of the deceased has yet to be determined after an autopsy.
