The 32-year-old native of Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) will be accompanied in the center of the field by Sandrine Martinet-Aurières, a 38-year-old para-judocat in the visually impaired category B2 who won the silver medal in - 48 kg in Tokyo during the Paralympic Games last August. A decisive pass at the Vélodrome on Wednesday evening

Teddy Riner will therefore tread the lawn of the Parc des Princes two days after those of the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille. The heavyweight, in fact, participated Wednesday evening in the “match of heroes”, a gala meeting co-organized by UNICEF and the Didier Drogba foundation with the aim of raising funds for education in Côte d'Ivoire. The tricolor champion had swapped his kimono for a jersey, shorts, socks and crampons. He even distinguished himself by delivering an assist for French Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly.

Twenty-four hours before the meeting, Teddy Riner did not hide his joy at treading the lawn of the Velodrome.

"I can only be very happy to go to one of the most beautiful stadiums in France," he said.

He breathes football which is also one of my passions.

Treading the lawn of the Velodrome with crampons should be very impressive.

I hope that the OM supporters will all be behind us, and that for the duration of a match they will forget that I support PSG (smile).
