Live report from the hearing regarding Beitar Jerusalem: A celebrant arrived at the court
A fateful day for the club from the capital.
Beitar hopes that the court will intervene in the demands of the police, which will allow the sale to Barak Abramov. If there are no concessions, the yellow-blacks will take a big step on the way to relegation

Moshe Hogg, players, employees and fans arrived today (Wednesday) at the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court ahead of the frantic hearing of Beitar Jerusalem's request to remove the restrictions imposed by the Israel Police on the sale of the club. The intended buyer, Barak Abramov, was not present at the scene and in his place came the lawyer Roy Rosen who represents him. The club estimated yesterday that the court will in any case improve the situation today, but they are also taking into account an interim decision that will force the parties to reach a compromise.
Beitar Jerusalem appealed to the court to intervene in the police's condition of the club's purchase deal by Barak Abramov.
The police are currently demanding guarantees of NIS 11 million and agree to the transfer of ownership only after three years, when the deal will be finalized financially.
Abramov has already stated that he will not be ready for these conditions and now he is pinning his hopes on the court.
Beitar received an extension to settle its affairs until August 10, otherwise it will be relegated without the possibility of appeal. Therefore, the court's decision today has great weight on the club's future.
