The price of gold in the local market rose by 4 thousand Syrian pounds, compared to the price it has settled on since the thirteenth of August.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmen Association for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 217 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 216,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 carat gold reached a selling price of 186 thousand pounds and a purchase of 185,500 pounds.
The association confirmed that the craftsmen must abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to purchase gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 2248005 and 09919377.
It is noteworthy that the price of a gram of gold 21 in the local market reached on the 13th of this August to 213,000 Syrian pounds, and a gram of 18 carat reached a selling price of 182571 pounds.
