(ANSA) - LONDON, MAY 06 - A second referendum on the secession of Scotland would be "foolish and irresponsible" now that Brexit Britain needs unity to win the post-Covid challenge.
This was stated by Boris Johnson, replying today to the latest appeal of the independence leader of the SNP Nicola Sturgeon in view of the vote for the renewal of the Scottish Parliament: the most important in the administrative session tomorrow in the United Kingdom.
The revival of the economy and employment are "the real priorities" of the people, thundered Prime Minister Tory.
Not without mentioning the no to independence suggested "only a few years ago" in the 2014 referendum. (ANSA).
