One of the policemen charged in court: Two years and nine months in prison

Two former London police officers are arrested for sharing photos of murder victims in chat groups.
A court in the British capital sentenced the 33 and 47-year-old men to two years and nine months in prison, as reported by the PA news agency and the Guardian.
The officers at the time were assigned to a cordon after the bodies of two dead sisters were found in a London park in June 2020.
The men left their position and took photos, apparently including a selfie.
They shared the pictures in chat groups with colleagues and acquaintances outside the police.
In addition, they made sexist and racist comments.
The men had admitted wrongdoing in public office.
You were released from the police following an internal process.
“I am sorry that our officers behaved in such a hurtful, disrespectful and criminal manner.
Your actions are shameful, ”Assistant Commissioner Helen Ball of the Metropolitan Police had said at the end of an internal investigation.
The case had caused horror across the country and further strained confidence in the London police.
The mother of the women killed criticized the act of the two men as "fraud of catastrophic proportions".
She calls for the resignation of police chief Cressida Dick.
The sisters' killer, a 19-year-old Satanist, was sentenced to at least 35 years in prison at the end of October.
