The delivery times for cars are long: Mini now sends waiting customers a life-size puzzle.
However, only in the USA.
And not everyone there either.

Due to the corona pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the required parts are missing in many places, which is why the supply of new cars is scarce and the discounts are correspondingly low.
Also used cars are currently in demand - and accordingly expensive.
Patience is also required when buying a car: If you order a new car, you usually have to expect long delivery times.
Mini USA is also struggling with this problem - but they have now come up with something to shorten the waiting time for customers.

US customers waiting for their Mini will be sent a jigsaw puzzle - some of them even "life-size".
The humorous title of the mega version: "Not so Mini".
You can then set up the huge variant in the garage (you may have to if there is not enough space in the living room), while you wait for your real car.
However, not every Mini buyer can enjoy the giant game, only “selected” customers.
As a spokesman told “Carscoops”, 350 copies of the mega puzzle will be produced – and the recipients will be chosen at random.

Waiting mini customers get jigsaw puzzles - with different vehicle motifs
However, the other waiting Mini buyers shouldn't go away empty-handed either: they will be sent a normal-sized puzzle.

According to the company, the puzzle campaign is a response to the high demand for the brand's vehicles and the global slowdown in supply chains that the automotive industry is currently facing.
Anyone who actually gets one of the rare giant jigsaw puzzles should think twice before actually tearing open the package and building it up - experience has shown that such limited editions quickly increase in value.
And for collectors, goods that are in their original packaging are usually at the top of the list.
