You need these ingredients for the low-carb bread with flaxseed

For the recipe you need a

loaf pan

and the following ingredients:

  • 7 eggs

  • 200 grams of flaxseed flour

  • 100 g ground flaxseed

  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil (e.g. olive oil)

  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3 tablespoons water

  • some oil or butter for the mold

  • Seeds of your choice (e.g. sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame)

The preparation of low-carb bread with flaxseed

  • Separate five eggs, you only need the whites.

    You can use the egg yolks for other things, for example for scrambled eggs or crème brûlée.

  • Put the five egg whites and two eggs in a bowl and beat them with a whisk until fluffy.

  • Stir in the other ingredients one after the other: flaxseed flour, ground flaxseeds, baking powder, salt and water.

    The dough should have a sticky consistency.

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat.

  • Grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter.

    Now you can sprinkle kernels or seeds of your choice on top.

  • Bake the bread in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
