The community of Fahrenzhausen is in good shape - financially too. This became clear at the citizens' meeting, at which Mayor Heinrich Stadlbauer had a lot of positive things to say.

The community of Fahrenzhausen is in good shape - financially too.

This became clear at the citizens' meeting, at which Mayor Heinrich Stadlbauer had a lot of positive things to say.

Fahrenzhausen

- After a one-year break, it was finally possible again: the head of the municipality, Heinrich Stadlbauer, invited to the citizens' meeting on Thursday to talk about facts and figures from the past two years and to exchange ideas with the townspeople present.

The auditorium of the Fahrenzhausen elementary school was well filled: Heinrich Stadlbauer started the evening with all the important figures.

There have been eight new municipal councils in the municipal council since the 2020 local elections.

Since the municipality had cracked the 5000 population mark before the elections, the number of committee members increased from 16 to 20. Two local spokesmen are also new: Bernhard Maier currently represents the interests of the Jarzt municipality, Peter Wolf takes care of Lauterbach.

The number of community staff is 93 employees.

New arrival: Fahrenzhausen is feeling the closeness to Munich more and more

The entire municipality had 5052 inhabitants at the beginning of the year.

The community "is noticing the proximity to Munich and the airport and the associated influx more and more," as Stadlbauer noted.

Accordingly, residential construction has increased massively again since 2018.

Before Heinrich Stadlbauer continued with his report on current events in Fahrenzhausen, treasurer Markus Eschenbecher gave an overview of Fahrenzhausen's finances.

With a total volume of around 29.5 million euros and no debt, the municipality is financially well positioned.

The municipality achieved the largest income in 2020 from administrative and operating income, especially from allocations.

Due to the community's reserves, a fine interest payment cannot currently be avoided, as the chamberlain regretted.

In addition to the flood of numbers at the beginning of the meeting, Heinrich Stadlbauer also had to report on some construction work. New playgrounds are being built in Viehbach, “Im Leger” and Großnöbach, and the St. Christophorus parish kindergarten with rooms for three kindergarten and two daycare groups should also be ready by 2022. There is a new trailer in the forest kindergarten, which was completed at the end of May. The two Rettenbach bridges were also renewed, the Wenger Weiher was renovated and the people of Fahrenzhausen can look forward to new bus shelters. The fire brigade buildings in Fahrenzhausen and Weng were renewed, there was also a new vehicle for the Fahrenzhausen fire brigade and a new crew car for the Wenger fire brigade. An upcoming major project is the new construction of the town hall building.Planning discussions have been ongoing for this since September 2021.

Inquiries were brought forward without further ado

Comments and requests on the part of the audience were already made in the run-up to the citizens' meeting regarding the playground in the Leger: A rain retention basin is required here.

"The coordination for this has already taken place, but the development plan still needs to be changed before the project can be implemented," said Stadlbauer.

There were also inquiries about the bridge in the forest area between Weng and Jarzt: According to a Fahrenzhausen citizen, it no longer looks safe.

However, the mayor was able to relieve him of this concern: "A structural engineer has already looked at the bridge, some beams will be replaced in the near future, but the stability is still guaranteed in its current condition."
