Oil prices fell today by 1 percent after the increase in US crude and fuel inventories.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 94 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $85.46 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude fell $1.02, or 1.2 percent, to $83.63 a barrel.
Gasoline stocks increased by 500,000 barrels, while distillate stocks recorded an increase of one million barrels.
