2022-05-17T13:51:29.174Z

Metal parts in the food - that's what threatens the consumption of "5 Minute Terrines" by the Nestlé subsidiary Maggi. The group warns against products with two batch numbers.

The food manufacturer Maggi is recalling two varieties of its "5 minute terrine" because there could be metal parts in the ready meals.

Affected are the variety "mashed potatoes with porcini mushrooms" with the best before date May 31, 2023 and the batch numbers 21270703Z, 21280703Z and 21290703Z as well as "mashed potatoes with roasted onions and croutons" with the same best before date and the batch number 21280703Z, Nestlé Germany announced.

Maggi belongs to the group.

The manufacturer warned against consuming the affected products.

When returning a product to a retailer, customers will get their money back even without proof of purchase.

Other Maggi products are not affected, it said, not even products on the Austrian market.
