An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit the Mexican region of Rizo de Oro, but no casualties or injuries were reported.
And the Bloomberg News Agency quoted the US Geological Survey as saying in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers and at the confluence of latitude 16.020 degrees north and longitude 217.4 degrees west.
The authority indicated that there have been no reports of casualties or material losses so far.
On the eleventh of last month, an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck southwest Mexico.
