A suspected arson case occurred in Chang'an Village, Tsing Yi. At 6:48 this morning, a 39-year-old man in Anhai Building, Chang'an Village, was suspicious of divorce. He attempted to set himself on fire at home and died. The father found that he was stopped. He was injured in the chaos and his mother was rushed. After leaving the corridor to call for help, the police and firefighters arrived at the scene. The fire was put out. Both father and son were injured. They were sent to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
It is reported that the victim's wife voluntarily filed for a divorce and is going through the divorce procedures. The victim is depressed about this.
A man in Anhai House, Chang'an Village, Tsing Yi, was suspected of marrying and attempted to self-immolate in search of death.
