Good signs for the future.
The Israel team defeated the Georgia team 96:104 this evening (Friday) in Tbilisi, while demonstrating excellent ability.
In fact, the game ended with only an eight difference after there was a drop in tension in the team in the final minutes.
This was Israel's second preparation game for the European Championship in early September after earlier this week the team beat Auburn College.
The sick Danny Avdia did not go to the two games in Georgia due to illness.
Coach Guy Goodes started the game with Tamir Blatt, Yuval Sussman, Rafi Manko, Jake Cohen and Roman Sorkin.
The Israeli game looked good and fluid for many minutes, even though on the opposite side stood one of the best forwards in Europe - Turnika Shenglia - who was very good.
