The picture of the League Cup quarter-finals in England has been completed, after tonight (Wednesday) Arsenal, Chelsea and Sunderland also joined Tottenham, Liverpool and Brentford.
In the two games that have been in focus, no decision has been made yet, with Manchester City in the midst of a London penalty shootout against West Ham and the meeting between Leicester and Brighton is not over yet.

West Ham - Manchester City 0: 0 (3: 5 on penalties)
A four-year streak in which the League Cup was lifted by Manchester City came to an end tonight.
The English champions, who started with a pretty strong squad that included Kevin de Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez, among others, failed to score the Hammers' goal in legal time and were dragged into a penalty shootout, where Phil Foden missed the first kick and decided the fate of the Citizens.
West Ham won all five of their kicks and advanced to the quarter-finals.

Preston - Liverpool 2: 0
The hottest team in the kingdom and probably also in the world, which has not lost a game this season, maintained the wonderful balance even in the away game against the team from the sub-league, and did so with a rather lacking staff.
Even without Trent Alexander Arnold, Andy Robertson, Virgil Van Dyke, Muhammad Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and other stars who rested after the crushing 0-5 win over Manchester United.
After 45 minutes of zeroing, Tacomi Minamino (62) and Dibuk Origi (84) scored and lifted the Mighters to the next stage.

Burnley - Tottenham 1: 0
The Spurs have a pretty bad period in the Premier League, where they have lost three of the last five games, but tonight they did their part against an opponent from the same league - despite being one of the teams that have not won this season yet.
Harry Kane opened the scoring and completed 90 minutes, a surprising move by coach Nono Aspirito Santo in light of the fact that the Roosters will host Manchester United on Saturday in the league, but the striker did not score again and the only one to find the net was Lucas More who set up the game in the 68th minute.
Jung Min-sun, unlike Kane, only came off the bench for the last 25 minutes.
Additional games:
Leicester - Brighton (21:45)
Stoke City - Brentford 2: 1
