Manchester City has signed Sergio Gomez from Anderlecht, Belgium.
The club said in a statement on its official website that it had signed a contract with the Spanish left-back, 21, for a period of four years, and he will wear the number 21 shirt that was worn by his compatriot David Silva.
Gomez is City's fourth signing during the current summer transfer window, after Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, English midfielder Kevin Phillips and German goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
