As President Alberto Fernández did, the Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán, assured this Friday that there will be no devaluation and minimized the impact of alternative dollars on the country's situation.

He did so when speaking on the last day of the 56 IDEA Colloquium.

"We are fully committed to ensuring that the official exchange rate evolves hand in hand with prices, maintaining stability of the real exchange rate. Today we do have a real exchange rate that represents the Argentine reality on the trade front," he said.

Interviewed by the journalist Fernando González, Guzmán affirmed that "the situation of the official dollar is quite different than in the parallels."

"The blue and the cash with settlement are two dollars that do not matter directly in the economy but on expectations. The reality is that these types of changes are in values that do not represent the Argentine reality," he said.
